Maintenance & Care Guide

Protecting the performance, safety, and longevity of your installation.

Your JAYMARC installation has been engineered for durability, safety, and long‑term performance. Regular care ensures your product continues to operate at its best and maintains its warranty protection. The following maintenance guidelines apply to all JAYMARC glass, stainless steel, aluminium, and hardware systems.

Glass Surfaces
• Clean with warm water and a pH‑neutral detergent using a soft cloth or sponge.
• Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, or anything that may scratch the surface.
• For EnduroShield‑treated glass, follow the manufacturer’s care instructions. Avoid products that may compromise the protective coating.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent spotting.

Stainless Steel Components
• Wash periodically with mild detergent and warm water, then dry with a soft cloth to prevent tea‑staining.
• Increase cleaning frequency in coastal, poolside, or high‑moisture environments.
• Avoid bleach, acidic cleaners, abrasive pads, or steel wool.
• Do not allow salt, pool chemicals, or fertilisers to sit on the surface.

Powder‑Coated Aluminium
• Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
• Do not use solvents, thinners, citrus‑based cleaners, or abrasive products.
• Inspect periodically for chips or scratches and touch up as required to prevent corrosion.
• Avoid dragging objects or tools across the surface.

Hardware & Gate Systems
• Inspect hinges, latches, and moving components every 3–6 months.
• Ensure pool gates self‑close and self‑latch correctly at all times to remain compliant.
• Tighten loose fixings as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts with a silicone‑based lubricant only.
• Remove debris, dirt, or plant matter that may obstruct operation.

General Care
• Avoid attaching items (towels, decorations, planters, lights) to balustrades or fencing.
• Do not use high‑pressure cleaners directly on hardware or fixings.
• Inspect installations after severe weather or high winds.
• Keep surrounding areas clear of chemicals, fertilisers, and corrosive materials.

Warranty Note
Following the above maintenance requirements is essential to preserve the performance and safety of your installation. Failure to maintain the product as outlined may affect warranty coverage.
